Role Responsibilities
As a Loan Back Office (LBO) Executive, you will have to work with the end-to-end processing of loans applications.This includes document verification, system updates, coordination with customers and internal departments, and ensuring that each application follows compliance guidelines. Some of your key tasks will include:
- Reviewing loan application forms and ensuring all necessary documents are attached.
- Coordinating with front-end loan officers, customers, and third-party vendors for document collection and verification.
- Entering loan data into internal systems with a high level of accuracy.
- Ensuring all processing is completed as per defined timelines and in compliance with RBI/bank guidelines.
- Generating reports related to loan processing, disbursement, and closure.
- Supporting internal audits and handling queries related to past records.
- Providing administrative support to the loan department, including file management and status tracking.
The Loan Back Office group is critical as it ensures applications and approvals of loans are done effectively, errors are kept to a bare minimum, and the image of the bank as being professional and fast.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills
Required Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Business Administration from a recognized university.
- Candidates with up to 1 year of experience are eligible to apply.
- Strong understanding of financial documents like income proofs, KYC, and loan forms.
- Basic knowledge of banking products and services.
- Ability to use computers confidently, including MS Office and loan management software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior internship or work experience in a bank or NBFC will be a strong advantage.
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload efficiently.
- Comfortable working under deadlines and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
