Indian Air Force has released the official notification for Agniveervayu hiring 2025 under Agnipath scheme. The criteria for eligibility of male and female candidates are that their age should be between 17.5 to 21 years with completed 10+2, Diploma or Vocational qualifications. If they fulfil this criteria then they can apply between July 11 to July 31. The online exam begins on September 25, followed by physical, health, and medical evaluations. Candidates who are selected will receive a starting stipend of ₹30,000 which can increase upto ₹40,000 by the fourth year. Applications must be submitted via agnipathvayu.cdac.in.

Role & Responsibilities
The Agniveervayu personnel will work in any technical and non-technical role across the Indian Air Force. The major duties are as follows:
- Base management and air operation support
- Handling machinery, equipment, and systems based on training and deployment
- Attending frequent physical and skills testing
- Maintaining discipline, physical fitness, and mission readiness

For Science Subjects:
- 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and English with minimum 50% aggregate and 50% in English
- OR 3-Year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, etc.) with 50% aggregate and 50% in English
- OR 2-Year Vocational Course with Physics & Math and 50% aggregate and 50% in English
For Other Than Science Subjects:
- 10+2 in any stream with minimum 50% aggregate and 50% in English
- OR 2-Year Vocational Course with 50% aggregate and 50% in English
Age Limit:
- Minimum: 17.5 years
